Nice simple article marketing starter strategy....

First and foremost make sure your keyword research is done properly and your articles are SEO friendly. You also need to focus on more than one article directory. Some find traffic from EZA crappy while others get good traffic. It can be the same with any article directory but the fact is you need to be more spread out and venture into other article directories.

When you have bookmarks your site, articles, blog, and web 2.0 sites then also randomly bookmark your bookmark profiles.

Next is onto Rss Feeds, everything above has Rss Feed.. Your articles, web 2.0 sites, blog, and bookmark profiles..

This is a great post

I follow a very similar strategy. Along with building a network with Squidoo, Hubpages and Blogger... I also add Weebly and Wordpress.com into the mix. I always seem to get quiet a bit of traffic from Weebly in a few niches...so maybe that is something you guys can give a go.

Search engine do not know if you spun your article or not* (see disclaimer) The reason why you mainly spin articles is so you can target other keywords, get more publishers to republish your articles, so they can be re-used for other things, and etc ...

A backlink is a backlink period! It does not matter if it is from spun article or not, it still carries the same weight. Now we all know PR will help some (not near as much as it used to) but remember when submitting to article directories your PR on that article page is going to be unranked, does not matter what the main PR is. If using AP your PR will be a 1 to a 2 (use ap social poster and it will increase) when posting an article, because my directory is build better than the reast. Sorry not bragging but just telling the truth.

The main weight of that backlinks is going to depend upon other backlinks pointing to it, this is why I suggest cross linking and interlinking exchange.

* Disclaimer: 95% of the spinners are crap and we all know it, mine is human controlled so it does not produce crap. So with this said search engines can tell to an extent of how crappy an article is by following the word flow.

This is a great starter strategy James, I think it needs to come out of hiding, and show itself again. I appreciate the Rss feed submission sites. Does anyone else have a bigger list? I am always looking for more places to submit my sites to.

Also, crossing some of these, you can add modules to your squidoo lenses and hubpages reading your rss feeds. This way, they are being updated every time you post to your blog, and you get more backlinks to your site.

That would be great. i am always looking for new places to share my blogs with. Since most of my sites are built on WP, i use Rss feeds everywhere
